Jaci earned her Bachelor's of Art degree in both Psychology and Education from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She obtained her Master's of Science degree in Counseling from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. Her internship and post graduate internship were completed at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County where she was then hired. At the Children's Advocacy Center, she counseled abused children and their families. She focused on a variety of issues including ptsd, depression, anxiety, and grief. In private practice, she continues to help clients cope with these issues, in addition to others, including trichotillomania, dermatillomania, autism, divorce, parenting, marriage, and infertility.
Jaci has specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has completed the Trichotillomania and Body Focused Repetitive Behavior Training Institute conducted by the Trichotillomania Learning Center. She conducts cognitive behavioral and play therapy, in both family and individual sessions.
Jaci is a member of the Texas Counseling Association, Trichotillomania Learning Center, and the Collin County Psychological Association.
